So, I have wanted to study medicine for about two, three years now. It's not been like a lifelong dream, but I've always been really good academically, and as I've kind of approached the end of my schooling year, I can kind of pick anything that I want, any direction that I want, and medicine is very appealing because I like stuff that's very left-brained and scientific and academic and also brings in some of the right-brained side of things, where there's a little bit of creativity in problem-solving and also dealing with people and all of those things. So, that's one of the reasons why I'm interested. On a more personal level, I have a family member who's been kind of in and out of the hospital system, and I've seen that a good doctor can really make the difference between not just the treatment they get, but also the experience they have of that system, dealing with everything that's involved in the hospital system, basically. So, that's been an encouragement to try and be one of those people that can make someone's life better, not just from a treatment point of view, but from a general quality-of-life experience of the medical profession point of view.

You will answer 35 questions in Decision Making. Each question is standalone, meaning that it has its own stimulus, data or diagram.
Unlike in other UCAT sections, nothing is shared between questions in DM. You must start over and work with a fresh stimulus in each question.
